Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot (Ep. 1-6)

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Ghost Rider” has just ended it’s first half of Season 4, and will return on-air in January 2017 for the second part (starting with Ep#4.9), titled “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: L.M.D.” - in continuation of the finale of “Ghost Rider” … but before that happens, an all new six-part digital series titled “Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot” first made their debut on Tuesday, December 12th on the abc app and abc.com.

The mini series focuses on speedster Elena "Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, wth each ep ranging between -4 minutes to 5+mins long, and they have now been made available on youtube!

Scroll down for essentially 1/2 and hour’s worth of programming, which is on-par with the production values of the series itself, byte-sized and pretty fun a watch too!

"Now that Daisy has returned to S.H.I.E.L.D., Yo-Yo wants to talk to her about a secret the two of them share. In a flashback, we start to learn about the day Yo-Yo signed the Sokovia Accords. But we also discover Yo-Yo is tracking a dangerous threat from her past."
(Editor: Daisy punching the bag with loud heavy rock metal song playing in the background, without the door closed, is such an utter “cry for help” hahaha)

"Director Mace talks Yo-Yo through the signing of the Sokovia Accords. There are regulations to follow and severe consequences if the agreement is broken. When Yo-Yo feels that bureaucracy is getting in the way of her mission, she’s faced with a difficult choice."
"Yo-Yo is eager to further her personal mission, but must first report to the lab. While Fitz-Simmons complete Yo-Yo’s Inhuman registration, she must find a way to continue her secret agenda, and hide the truth from Mack."
"After Agent May confronts Yo-Yo, Yo-Yo reunites with an old acquaintance and digs up the past."
(*Editor: And how the effin’ heck does a Speedster gets sucker punched from behind her as she turned her head? C’mon!)

"Yo-Yo finds herself held captive by Ramon and discovers he has a connection to an old foe of S.H.I.E.L.D. When some unexpected help arrives, Yo-Yo gets her chance to exact vengeance against the man who caused her family pain."
"Yo-Yo continues her personal mission of vengeance and must decide if she will cross the line and take a life in her quest for revenge. In the aftermath of her covert adventure, Yo-Yo weighs her commitment to the S.H.I.E.L.D. team."

Interesting tho, is that most episodes had a face-to-face - seen as side-to-side visual framing of the characters.

WHAT-IS: "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot, or simply Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot, is an American web television series created for ABC.com, based on the Marvel Comics character Yo-Yo Rodriguez. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films and other television series of the franchise, and is a supplement to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The series is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

The web series revolves around a mission Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez embarks on before the events of fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Natalia Cordova-Buckley reprises her role from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., with other members of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast also appearing."
(Wiki)
WHO-IS: Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez is "A Colombian Inhuman who can move at a super speed for a beat of her heart, before returning to the point she started moving from, who serves as an asset to S.H.I.E.L.D. Cordova-Buckley stated the series allowed her to study how Rodriguez "feels about having these powers and how to use them and with whom to use them and with whom to team up or not." Cordova-Buckley also added that the series helped her as an actress and learning how to build a character, as she had never had to hold a series on her own before."
Now that "Quicksilver" bit the dust in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" (Does X-Men's "Quicksilver" still count tho Technically it belongs elsewhere teehee), the MCU needs a speedster to even up the pace with DC Comic, who have MORE than a apple supply of folks with super-seeps, in both television and film universes too! LOL
