#watched NBC's #Blindspot Pilot Ep

ABOUT: "A beautiful woman, with no memories of her past, is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI, which begins to follow the road map on her body into a larger conspiracy of crime, while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity." The basic premise of BLINDSPOT is admittedly intriguing - although not wholly "original" - as the notion of messages/clues tattooed on the human boy was last seen in Prison Break, with the map of "Fox River State Penitentiary" on "Michael Scofield"s body…

Intensive military skill-sets, Proficient in 13 languages. Jane kicking ass while remaining poker-faced and stoic, is such an awesome sight to behold, IMHO.

And it is solely on Jane Doe's badassness that I will be staying on for this series, and I don't really care if the tattoos on her body is deciphered or not … may fear is, whatever the "answers" may be, they will pale in comparison to her said badassery!

American actress "Jaimie Alexander" as the lead "Jane Doe" equips herself well, from the emotive "help me please" look at the beginning of the Pilot, thru to the "I'll kick your ass without breaking a sweat" at the end of the Pilot.

I recognize Australian actor "Sullivan Stapleton" from "300: Rise of an Empire" (I had to wiki for his character's name; "Themistocles" tho :p), and struggle to find his emotional motivation in this series, besides the grouchy brooding one-dimensional look seen throughout. Here's hoping the "tough manguy" persona expands beyond the cliches.

Everybody else seems dressing meant to populate the scenes and possess not too distinct a personality(ties) to be remembered beyond the pilot.

The pilot was directed by Lens Wiseman - whose action-fueled work I enjoyed in feature films like "Underworld", "Live Free or Die Hard (2007)" and "Total Recall (2012)". If the rest of the series retains the verve and visual pulse of the episode I watched, you can count me in for a follow :)
